BY HON APST KOVIE ANDREW EPETUKU

It's indeed a big moment of celebration in the Emevor kingdom as a worthy son of the community has been massively elected to lead the people from the community as President General both at home and in Diaspora.

It's indeed a new Dawn for the Emevor people as God has given High chief Emmanuel Erezih (Okpomo) the mantle of leading the people of Emevor kingdom to peace and prosperity.

For the first time the sons and daughters of Emevor kingdom has witnessed a heavily contested election where everyone both home and abroad fully participated, and a top winner emerged.

I sincerely thank and appreciate the electoral committee headed by Hon Emmanuel Erirhe and his team for a job well done, they have proven in the conduct of this election, that Emevor has honest people who can conduct a free and fair election better than what INEC is doing.

I understand the feelings of all the candidates that participate in this context, but I want us to understand that there's no loser in this election because the victory of Emmanuel Erezih and other candidates that contested for other positions, is a victory for the entire Emevor people.

Elections have come and gone, and now is the time to lead in order to move Emevor forward and all sons and daughters of this great community has a role to play.

While congratulating the winners of the just concluded election, I equally want to remind them that the victory recorded today is not for them and their supporters alone, but for the Emevor people including other candidates and their supporters as well.

We are a peace loving people and as such, we will continue to keep our Emevor community peaceful irrespective of our dissatisfaction, before, during, and after the election.

I urge our newly elected PG to carry all sons and daughters of the Emevor kingdom along in his government, and also encourage all candidates that participated in this election to join forces, wisdom and intellect with the new PG and his executives to move the Emevor community to the promised land.

"Congratulations on e more, we trust your leadership will bring positive change, growth and prosperity to our land and we pray the God grants you all the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding needed to propel the Emevor community to the forefront.

United will stand divided will fall.
Emevor Ovovo.
